Job Title: Steel Structures Draughtsperson (Tekla)Location: Kings HillSalary: Competitive, DOEJob Type: Full Time, PermanentThe company specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of integrated, future-proofed mezzanine flooring solutions for major logistics and manufacturing centres in the UK and across Europe. Their services maximise space and help optimise storage, warehousing & distribution and production processes for today's evolving businesses.The Role:The ideal candidate will be responsible producing fabrication drawings, call-offs & mark-up drawings in CAD & Tekla from the approved general arrangement drawings in line with customer requirements.They are looking for someone with ambition, drive and some working knowledge of technical design and detailing. A background in construction and especially structural steelwork is essential.Job Duties:Produce fabrication drawings and mark-up drawings that are clear and concise and that present the structural steelwork details of the contract in a manner that can be easily understood by all those that are presented with them for their use or referenceCarrying out designs for a wide range of projectsBe able to refer to and correctly interpret the general arrangement drawings, specifications, detailsWork to engineering drawings and model/detail up a range of structural steelwork for themFlooring Review Structural Engineer drawingsGood timekeeping and project management skillsWorking with work colleagues and customers to achieve final results on technical mattersMaintain a high standard of work under pressureAny changes done during detailing must be updated on the general arrangement drawing in AutoCAD and the designer / salesperson to be informedRequirements:Experience using Tekla Design and AutoCAD software is essentialMinimum of 5 years' experience of architectural / structural steel drawingExperience of architectural / structural steel drawings KnowledgeExperience of the technical elements of steel fabrication and installationAbility to undertake a reasonable level of technical calculationsPossess a good level of IT skillsLiterate and adequately numerate to undertake a reasonable level of technical calculationsBenefits:Competitive Salary20 days holiday plus extra for the Christmas closureContributory Pension SchemeCompany social events and in office activitiesBe a part of a Global teamPlease click the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; CAD Technician, CAD, CAD Estimator, CAD Security, CAD, Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Design Technician, AutoCAD, 2D CAD, CAD Operator, CAD Designer, CAD Design, Draughtsperson, Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering, Auto-CAD Design Engineer, Auto-CAD Technician will be considered for this role.
