Lead ICT Support Officer

If so, read on.As the Lead ICT Support Officer, you’ll be part of a friendly onsite team of IT professionals who provide 1st to 3rd line support to our 220 staff based in Slough, as well as remote support for satellite staff and home workers.You’ll provide 1st line support, both face to face and over the phone, as part of the team and be the lead in analysing calls, lead on the quality of delivery of an efficient helpdesk system, ensuring cases are effectively handled and route causes identified and managed amongst the team.Your key job responsibilities will be:
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable 1st line support both face to face and over the phone
- Installing, testing and maintaining hardware, software and SOS
- Evaluating hardware and software, ensuring they meet requirements and specifications
- Managing the helpdesk system, analyse the calls, spot trends and track KPIsYour technical background:
- Experience of working in an ICT service desk environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (8.1 and 10), Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of supporting Office 2016/19/365
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementYou’ll love this job if you’re:
