A Front End Developer is required for our client based in Exeter for an initial 6 month contract Background The successful candidate will be joining our client's Business Group Services Development Programme whose vision is to deliver both financial and non-financial benefits of a products and services portfolio that meet market needs of our industry customers through exploiting new technology.The development team practise Agile methodologies and are heavily focused on providing cloud-based solutions with serverless technologies. Responsibilities - Undertaking software development primarily in Python

- Working within the development team to deliver agreed outcomes following agreed approach.

- Contributing to the team's continual improvement initiatives Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities - Proven ability of developing robust and serviceable enterprise level Web Applications.

- At least 5 years' experience of coding in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS making use of the Angular (version 2 or greater, ideally familiar with version 6 or above) Framework

- At least 5 years' experience of writing tests for web applications using JEST/JASMINE

- At least 2 years' experience of working as part of a SCRUM based agile team

- Communication skills that help provide team level technical understanding

- Ability to assist in providing technical direction and mentoring for the team

- Evidence of mentoring junior members of the team

- Evidence of influencing the team's technical direction. Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Abilities - AWS Certified Associate Developer

- Demonstrable knowledge of IT security principles

- Experience of implementing Web Applications with WebSocket interactions

- Experience of making use of NGRX Store

- Experience of making use of the JavaScript library Leaflet for building interactive maps

- Experience of making use of Angular Material

- Public Sector experience.
