As a member of the cloud architecture team you will be pivotal in designing and deploying cloud based architectures. These will range in size from small bespoke solutions to large enterprise scale deployments so it is important you are comfortable in both of these scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Working directly with our customers to understand their requirements and evaluating the applicability of cloud to the problem space.Producing high and low level designs to deliver secure, reliable, efficient and cost optimised cloud based systemTranslating architectural designs into infrastructure-as-code defined solutions.Working with support teams to enable management and monitoring of cloud based systemsEnsuring compliance of cloud systems with security policies and regulatory requirementsActing as the SME on public cloud technologies, supporting organisational cloud adoption strategies and embedding best practice approaches
Skills & Knowledge:
Understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework, the AWS Global Infrastructure and Availability ZonesAbility to design robust cloud network architecturesSecurity and monitoring for cloud solutionsCommunicating complex cloud architectures to a range of technical and non-technical audiencesUsing AWS VPC, Subnets, Routing, Gateways, Peering and VPNs to design robust cloud network architecturesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business and play a key role in the safety of the country's infrastructure.
