Due to my client's continued success and growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Manager.You will be responsible for managing the application group and will be responsible for building or configuring, maintaining or enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications through the life cycle.
With this role, you will be overseeing the activities which optimise the value, cost and risk of applications. You will also be expected to provide leadership, vision and direction to the applications organisation to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals.
Essential Knowledge:
Experience managing a team in application development, implementation or management. Strong communication skills with ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.Application development background. Data processing, analysis and quality management tools.Automotive industry-specific and regulatory knowledge or qualifications is desirable.This is an opportunity for you to join a globally recognised company who go the extra mile, and provides an industry leading employment package.
