Trading System Build Project Manager required by a pre-launch FinTech business backed by one of the biggest names in Investment Management. My client is a 100+ person FinTech business, currently operating in stealth-mode ahead of a full launch in early 2020. To support their continued growth they are looking to appoint a technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to help coordinate and manage three separate Front Office Development teams. The successful hire will take ownership of JIRA / Gitlab tickets, breaking down software engineering tasks into smaller increments, assisting Developers with their planning, including speccing out and documentation, and reporting to Senior Management. Given the specificity of the role, we are ideally looking for a former Software Engineer who has progressed into Software Engineering-related Project Management, ideally with expertise in Trading Technology. RequirementsTechnical Project Manager / Scrum Master with a background as a hands-on Software Engineer or Quantitative Developer.Good Bachelor's Degree (2:1 or better) in a numerate subject - ideally Computer Science, Engineering or Maths.Relevant Trading Technology experience with knowledge of one or more Asset Class.Expertise in at least one mainstream Agile methodology i.e. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban..JIRA or Gitlab experience or equivalent tool with exposure to DevOps, source code management, CI/CD and monitoring.Experience working with C# .Net, AWS/Docker, React/Redux/TypeScript or C++ preferred.Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
