Development Consultant Specialist - AWS (Cloud native experience accepted)This job is responsible for developing/configuring, unit testing, debugging and troubleshooting software or enhancements to software, related to implementation of company software products utilizing AWS toolsets. You will work in the technical team alongside business consultants, interfacing with the customer and partnering with other internal teams. Where required by the project, may also be responsible for supporting delivery and installation of software at customer premises. Your time will be split between developing and operating environments in AWS. You'll help design, develop, deploy, operate and scale our infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesCodes or configures software functionality according to functional specifications to the agreed schedule.Unit tests code and debugs accordingly.May contribute to the detailed design documents.Adheres to CSG software development standards and procedures.Coordinates with all members of the project team.ExperienceExperience Unix infrastructure operational experienceExcellent problem solving and communication skillsExperience development experienceAbility to cultivate effective working relationships with internal teams and customersExperience with multi-user, complex software applicationsKnowledge of Telecoms Industry preferred (not essential)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic understanding of client requirements and CSG software product solutions.Ability to develop algorithms, to develop code, to debug code, and to document.Assist in managing releases: planning, deployments, validation and rollback proceduresDevelop automation tooling to manage and maintain environmentsResearch and identify new services and technologies that meet requirementsAssist in deployment of cloud servicesDesired ExperienceExperience managing Unix InfrastructureExperience with cloud service providers, AWS being a plusExperience with Agile Software development methodologiesExperience with Test Driven DevelopmentExperience with automation and config management tools Experience implementing CI/CD solutionsIf this role isn't for you but you know somebody that may be interested pass on their details as we offer £250 in Amazon Vouchers.
