IT Support (School) - Birmingham - 6-8 weeks An opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer. You will be joining a reputable ICT support and teaching company, and will be providing on-site support to a local school in Birmingham.Due to the urgent nature of the role and working in the school environment, the client ideally requires that candidates hold current active Enhanced DBS clearance. DutiesResolving network, server and equipment failures including software, hardware and infrastructure problems as defined by the service level agreement.Responsible for day-to-day management of the schools network, looking after onsite issues in the classroomEscalate issues as appropriate to 2nd Line, monitoring call queues to resolve issues raised, with focus on keeping the school happy and maintaining good customer relations. Skills & ExperiencesYou will have worked in a similar environmentGoogle Chromebook Management via GSuite Management ConsoleWindows 10 and Server 2012/2016 environment managementPrint queue management experience Desirable SkillsCC4 systemsVirtual Server Technology knowledge such as HyperV and VMWareSCCMKnowledge of working in education/schools, able to communicate at all levels, good customer focus If this role is of interest to you, please apply at the first instance.
