I am working in partnership with a technology business that has grown quickly over the last decade based on exciting innovation, reliability and with a focus on providing exceptional service.

This company dominates the market they are in and are a trusted partner of the UK's Fire and Rescue services along with long-standing partnerships with major retailers as sole suppliers in some cases.

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer for their talented team based in Coventry.

Your role will encompass top class design and development for the company's range of Fire Safety products and systems, with additional responsibilities in the verification and validation of new designs and product changes.

You will be working closely with engineers from other disciplines to develop state of the art products and support through the full lifecycle.

Key Skills
-Embedded C Programming
-Real-time embedded system development
-Software / Firmware design (Microchip PIC and ARM M0/M0+ preferred but not essential)
-Software / Firmware verification
-Understanding of embedded electronics
-Working with Hardware Engineers to implement optimal design
-Validation plan development

Desirable Skills

-Git, Python and C# as well as programming for Windows and Linux would be beneficial.
