We are building out our office in Warrington. At the moment, we currently have one of our main laboratories here but we intend to build a brand new software development team here as well, this will become an integral tech location for our UK locations. This means that there are a many new roles that have come to fruition.
We're looking for software engineers, specifically at the Junior to Mid level who are interested in collaborating with our scientific department with the goal of developing and deploying our greenfield platform which will be used across multiple divisions. You will be responsible for developing and modifying complex software programs as well as liaising with business leaders in the analysis of software and hardware system needs, options and risks.
To be successful we're looking for:
Experience in software engineering with demonstrated success building high-quality, commercial softwareKnowledge of multiple software development life cycle phases, including scope and proposal, analysis, design, and software construction.Skilled working with Microsoft technologies, specifically .Net; C#; asp.net; SQLComfortable working with Agile / Scrum methodologies and software engineering best practice
Nice to have:
Experience working with Cloud services platforms such as Azure or AWS would be a huge plusExperience with front end tools such as NodeJS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Angular, JSON, MVC Frameworks, Web UI, JavaScript Package Managers, HTML5, CSS3, Web Services would also be advantageousFamiliar with APIs, Micro services and Service Oriented Architecture
We'd also appreciate knowledge of working in a highly scalable API environment
