Looking for a IT Technical Architect join a small team that provides the system design, development, integration, implementation and support across multiple projects to government organisations.
As well as being an all-rounder, with experience across a variety of infrastructure technologies. You'll need to have strong VMware ESXi knowledge as well as good network and routing experience.
VMware technical subject matter expertise with ESXi, vCentre, Clustering, High Availability, DRS vRealise, Update Manager, Hardening, Storage Integration, Extensive Trouble Shooting experience. (Ideally VMware EXXi certified)Have previous full system & software support role of IT Windows Server & Windows Exchange 2016 experience WDS, VAMT and SCCM.Expertise in Networking Infrastructure - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RRAS, WAN, RDP, Remote Management, Static Routes, Managed Switches (ideally CISCO trained), Firewalls CCNA or CCNP.
You'll be joining a small system engineering house who operate predominately within the defence sector. They've gained a reputation for rapid, cost-effective realisation of innovative technological solutions to suit demanding applications for government agencies. As well as for the quality of its products and, most importantly, for delivering solutions and services on time and to specification.
Working within a smaller independent organisation you'll have a chance to have a real impact within the business and have more control over the solutions you're designing.
Due to the nature of work carried out by this organisaiton you will need to hold current SC clearance as well as being willing and able to go through the highest level of security clearance you can get: DV clearance.
