The Head of IT, Europe will report into the Chief Information Officer. The Head of IT, Europe will be responsible for delivering operational objectives and drive the IT agenda in line with the Group's strategy, by adding value to everyday business activity within the firm.
The role will be responsible for managing a team of 20 and will provide strategic IT guidance to our European office base.

Responsibilities

Through stakeholder management, identify and prioritise integration of IT with global and local business objectives and operational requirements across all European offices
Preparing and managing IT budgets in conjunction with the IT Finance Manager and CIO
Supporting the implementation of strategic global initiatives to share best practice and ensure consistency and execution of all IT and communications initiatives, working closely with the global IT team members as needed
Ensure IT Service Delivery in Europe runs smoothly and adheres to local policies
Manage measure and ensure that agreed levels of customer satisfaction are achieved across the various European offices. Ensure adequate control and monitoring is in place including SLA's / KPI's Provide KPI's to the Global Service Desk Manager as specified
Manage key projects across offices that may include office moves and/or new software rollouts
Identify opportunities for IT to deliver value to the business
Drive efficiency through workflow automation
Strategically support the firm during change management programmes to ensure that teams continue to operate efficiently

Requirements

Strong proven and related experience
Ability to travel to our European offices
A proven track record in IT project delivery; customer service and SLA delivery
A team player with the ability to build relationships within the IT team both locally and globally
The ability to build networks with partners and staff at all levels across the firm and influence effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong project, organisational, problem solving and time management skills
Experience in incident, problem, change and knowledge management
The ability to motivate people, lead, plan and prioritise own work and others
