A Warrington based IT software company are expanding their Support function and now in need of a dedicated Helpdesk Manager. You will need to be technical yourself and happy to triage calls before prioritising them and allocating them to the best suited engineer in the team. By doing the initial triage yourself, you free up the engineers to concentrate on the more complex issues.You will be managing 5 engineers, conducting team meetings, performance reviews, call quality reviews, target setting and ensuring SLA's are met, and identifying training needs.
Alongside the Operations Director, you will also be looking after hiring, promotions and pay rises within the team.
For this, they are offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on your background and skill set.
6% pension
Office hours are 9.00am - 5.30pm but they also offer flexi start and finish times.
Occasional work from home is available
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
As this is a newly created post, we are able to offer an immediate start, but we are also able to wait for you to complete your notice period.
