I think it is fair to say that when it comes to Service Delivery Manager's they are not a 'one size fits all' role. IT departments come in various shapes and forms, small, medium or large, and internal, shared and outward facing.Well the good news with this organisation is that they are looking for SDM's at varying levels of technical ability and experience. The Role
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to own service risks, control service costs & improve productivity for customers in order to increase profitability & continually improve cost effectiveness. This role will involve leading the service delivery to customer(s) in order to deliver contracted service commitments & continual service improvements as well as being accountable for the forecasting and management of the account P&L (orders, revenue & margin), balance sheet, and cash.
You will, in conjunction with the customer identify & define requirements for new services, ensuring such services are professionally introduced & accepted into service, proactively leading internal and external suppliers in a service partnership as one service team.
