In this key role, you will manage the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) Customer Relationship Management tool (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) and act as a technical authority with regard to its use, development and maintenance.
The UK Hydrographic Office is a leading centre for hydrography, providing marine geospatial data to inform maritime decisions. We work with a wide range of data suppliers and partners to support maritime navigation, safety, security and marine development around the UK and worldwide.
UKHO utilises the Microsoft Office SharePoint product platform for both internal and external web-based publishing, collaboration and information management tasks. Internal demand and use is growing. The SharePoint team are responsible for the technical delivery of numerous strategic SharePoint/Dynamics solutions as well as support of operational SharePoint/Dynamics services to both UKHO staff and external customers.
As well as driving technical delivery, the SharePoint & Dynamics 365 Administrator will be a key stakeholder in supporting site wide adoption of SharePoint & Dynamics. You will provide your expert knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders and ensure the tool is being used to drive down the cost of support for our customers and increase the value-added capabilities within UKHO with system improvements and best use of the tools available within the system e.g. Service level management, knowledge base functionality and usage, workflow management.
As well as your strong analytical skills, ability to work to agreed deadlines and excellent communication skills enabling you to manage a quality service, it is essential that the successful candidate also possess:
Experience in either:
SharePoint Online
SharePoint 2013 Server Administration
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
Understanding of the technical developments associated with Microsoft Dynamics
Microsoft PowerShell
IIS
Upgrading/Service Packing/Updating SharePoint/Dynamics365 environments
Experience of producing formal technical specifications
Experience of managing third party suppliers
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office365 Apps,including PowerBI, Flow, Power Apps.
