A leading and highly profitable financial institution is looking for an innovative senior DevOps engineer to define and implement the DevOps approach and tooling play a significant role in the techniques and tools used to implement an optimal DevOps environment. Working closely with Infrastructure and Development you will drive the automation of processes within both areas as applications are increasingly deployed to the cloud (primarily AWS and Azure). Specific areas of interest include a background in systems administration (primarily Linux), with Configuration Management using Ansible or similar, Containers including Docker and Kubernetes, Monitoring (Grafana, ELK), Networking, Scripting in Python, Bash or Powershell.

More important is the collaboration with different groups and working together to create the most productive and highly automated environment possible. This is a profitable, well funded group with DevOps and Cloud based development at the top of its agenda and a high role where you will have the ability to make a dramatic change on productivity.
