Do you have an understanding of each discipline, the ability to lead a team and good customer facing skills?This company have established themselves as a world leader through providing innovative robotic systems. They have the perfect balance of being an independent SME with the backing of a wealthy parent company and are looking for an engineering manager to lead their next generation of bespoke products.You will be managing a team of design and configuration engineers comprising of mechanical, electronic and software based elements. Each customer is given a hand built, tailored product so liaison with them throughout the process and beyond is equally as important to offer an exceptional service. This role will evolve and grow over time allowing you to really put your stamp on the position.The ideal person will have a hands-on electronics, software or mechanical background with a proven track record of leading projects and individuals. You will want to work in the dynamic of a smaller company that produces low volume, high value products for customers all over the world.The Role:

*Engineering Manager (design/manufacture and configuration)

*Managing electronics, software and mechanical disciplines

*Leading individuals on bespoke, unique products

*Working closely with customers to deliver an exceptional service

*Some travel to customer sites

The Person:

*Hands-on electronics, software or mechanical background

*Product development experience

*The ability or desire to lead, manage and teams

*Strong customer facing skills to lead projects
