Junior Software Developer / Implementation Consultant (SQL C# .Net Java Computer Science). Would you like to learn and progress your career whilst gaining valuable knowledge of financial software systems?

You could be joining a data centric FinTech software house as part of the software implementation team. Working with clients you will build strong working relationships and become a product expert; partnering with the client from project inception to go-live. You'll help to gather customer requirements, liaising with the business teams to produce appropriate specifications before configuring the product to meet the bespoke needs of the client whilst managing the full development lifecycle and subsequent implementation.

Providing product expertise you will guide clients through implementation; pro-actively develop and share best practices internally and with clients and make provision for training and end-user support during and after the implementation. You'll receive training and mentoring from an experienced team.

The majority of work will be done remotely from the Guildford office (onsite parking available, regular bus shuttle from the station) with regular trips to the London office but rarely on client site.

Requirements:

Degree educated, Computer Science or similar numerate or scientific discipline

Good knowledge of SQL and at least one development language (C#, C++, Java, Matlab, Python)

Aptitude and desire to learn

Logical mindset with strong organisation and prioritisation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
