Test manager/ Senior Tester sought for a bespoke tech led business in the Nottinghamshire area. This is a great opportunity for a senior tester who is seeking to progress into a full management role. Client DetailsThe client is a tech led business who has developed a bespoke technical offering that solves problems for large financial organisations.DescriptionBeing proactively involved in all the phases of development process starting from requirements analysis to User Acceptance Testing. Proactively providing feedback should any challenges occur during the project lifecycle Delegating, coordinating and monitoring testing during the development phase Managing and mentoring test team members Output maintainable test cases, review test cases written by junior team members and capture test results, which is appropriately documented Collating test results and ability to analyse results, finding trends in any bugs or issues Have a clear understanding on non-functional details of the requirement/Project such as environments, browsers, mobile versions and implement the analysis in the test cases. Able to work on multiple projects while maintaining high quality of work across all the projects Working closely with Developers, BA, PMO team and other Test Team Members during sprints to ensure that each feature is tested correctly and help to eliminate any potential issues in the development life cycle Managing, planning and preparing tests in a repeatable format to test products at various stages of the development process Preparing and reviewing test strategies, plans and procedures for each project Implementing and utilising automated testing techniques ProfileMotivation to improve the quality of our products Good understanding on Testing principles, Testing terminology, full Software lifecycle Preferably trained to ISEB or ISTQB QA standards A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Quality Assurance management role Previous experience in managing and mentoring testing teams Experienced in practices and methods for managing test plans and regression test suites Experience in writing automated tests using Selenium Web Driver or equivalent alternative Previous experience working within an Agile Scrum environment Good written and oral communication skills Experience working on any bug tracking tool (preferably Jira) Job OfferThe client can offer flexibility, progression and the chance to act up into the test manager role while they are developed into the role.
