Executive Desktop Engineer - 12 months - London

Global investment bank is looking for a highly experienced Executive Desktop Engineer who will be supporting the banks Executive floors working in a dedicated team of high touch support Engineers. This role also requires the Engineer to travel and support other locations within London and events in London and EMEA. These include our Executive and Client meeting office in central London and VIP events.

You will be will be part of a team and be expected to support approximately 400 Executive users on approximately 600 desktop and laptops. Support responsibilities also include assisting end users with the banks mobile and conferencing solutions on smartphone and tablet devices and manage a genius bar on the executive floor consisting of day to day support.

Experience & Skills Required:

- Strong technical skills and support background is essential.

- First class communication and people skills are essential

- A strong level of commitment is required. Last minute shift changes due to unforeseen circumstances and weekend working will be required upon request.

- Previous experience within the financial sector as well as supporting VIPExecutives will be advantageous.

- Troubleshooting and supporting MS Office 2016 and Office 365

- Troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10 Desktop O/S

- Troubleshooting remote access issues across both Windows and MAC OS

- BYOD Support for Smartphones and Tablet devices - Must be proficient in both iOS and Android

- Market Data (Reuters, Bloomberg, Factset, Datastream)

- PowerShell Scripting Knowledge

Advantageous

- Microsoft Windows 10 Certifications (MS70-698/MS70-797) or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certified.

Desirable

- Apple OSX Certification

- ITIL qualifications

- Microsoft 365 certified

- Other IT Support based qualifications / training
