Senior Software Developer (Algorithm Execution OOP C# .Net Core). Are you a skilled software developer with an indepth knowledge of C# (or other OOP) and experience of developing algorithmic trading systems?

You could be working on complex and intellectually stimulating systems for a technology driven Hedge Fund that invests in the sports betting markets; you'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of North London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef.

As a Senior Software Developer you will design and develop the core algorithmic based betting platform; including architecting and building the platforms infrastructure such as order management, abstractions to enable easy integrations with strategies and external interfaces as well as optimising critical code paths. You'll partner with trade strategists to develop execution strategies from concept through to implementation; provide technical direction to improve the delivery of features and ensure the platform remains technically strong and keep up to date with industry trends, incorporating industry best practice and introducing new technologies as appropriate.

Requirements:

Indepth experience of algorithm execution development with a data driven, automate everything mindset

Advanced knowledge of distributed, asynchronous event-driven systems

Aptitude for problem solving as well as analytical, strategic and quantitative thinking

Expert in techniques such as serialisation (ProtoBuf) and inter-process messaging (TCP point to point and / or broker-based)

Advanced experience with at least one OO programming language, C# .Net Core preferred
