Java Developer / Software Engineer (RESTful microservices Java 8 Docker). City based Investment Management firm with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a technologist Java Developer. Your role will focus on middleware and enterprise scale integrations of data centric financial trade systems, within a microservices environment. You'll be using the latest technologies, continually learning and gaining valuable knowledge of financial trading systems.

You'll be based in fantastic City offices with a professional and dynamic yet friendly environment.

Requirements:

Strong core Java 8+

Good knowledge of microservices patterns (Eclipse Microprofile, SpringBoot)

Experience within a DevOps environment, familiar with Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with RESTful services (JAX-RS) and JSON

Continuous Integration experience using Jenkins

Excellent communication skills

Nice to haves: OpenShift, Jetbrains, IntelliJ
