At the moment I am looking for a Wintel Engineer to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for 6 Months contract with the chance to get renewed at one of the biggest Telecom Company's in the Netherlands. Provide technical capability, support and maintenance for our Wintel (x86) based platforms across the Company including the delivery and documentation of the following:Escalated on-call 24x7x365 supportOperational, initiative and project based activitiesTechnical applications supportCapacity and availability managementSystem level performance managementObsolescence managementPatch, vulnerability and anti-virus managementTechnical design and implementationBackup & Disaster recovery management/capability Requirements: 1) Microsoft Core Windows technologies i.e. exposure of building, support, strategy etc of Windows NT4.0 to Windows 2016. (Enterprise level).2) Microsoft Active Directory i.e. design, support, strategy, trust etc of all MS Directories from W2K to Windows 2016. (Enterprise level).3) VMWare 5.x to 6.x i.e. design, support, strategy, best practice etc. Candidate must have worked at an enterprise level. I hope this caught your attention!
