Business Analyst - Law Enforcement - Warrington & London (may be flexible)- 6 months+ SC Cleared

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business analyst to join a law enforcement organisation for an estimated period of 12 months: 6 months full time and then 6 months part time (15 days per month.

This is a designated Agency to receive Step 2 Prüm data. Prüm is an automated search and comparison of data from national data files of EU partners in the area of DNA and fingerprint data.

ROLE

Support project delivery through:

*Identification and articulation of 'As Is' process diagrams and Business Design artefacts. Modelling processes and information flows, mapping out the key processes that underpin and support the business design function.

*Documenting "To Be" designs to support project delivery and organisational goals and enable smarter working (through improved use of IT and/or process change).

*Capture, analyse and manage business requirements (functional and non-functional) to inform solution design.

*Test and validate requirements throughout project lifecycle(s) e.g. through scenario development for UAT.

Essential;

*Business analysis

*Legal process analysis

*Data process mapping

*Modelling of manual processes with a view to automation

*Decision modelling for complex data processing

*User engagement

Desirable;

*Understanding of GDS Service Standards as their application to digital services delivery.

*Handling legally privileged material

*Evidential concepts

*Investigative / analytic computer systems

SC enhanced clearance is required in order to start in this position
