Salary: £537.39/day
Terms: Initially for 3 months, can get extended
Key Responsibilities:
As our IT Operations Manager/Enterprise Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for the following and required to: -
Lead, motivate and manage, 3 Team Leaders along with 4 medium sized teams within the Service and Systems Team.
Engage with a range of stakeholders to understand current and future infrastructure needs.
Manage the current technology infrastructure to ensure that it is reliable, optimised and fit for purpose.
Actively manage all third party suppliers and contracts required to deliver infrastructure services.
Ensure appropriate infrastructure resilience, backup and recovery are in place.
Ensure the delivery of a high quality, business focussed IT support service in line with agreed SLAs.
Report, analyse and deliver improvements to the support service.
Manage and deliver the infrastructure elements of wider business and IT change projects.
Ensure that all compliance activity owned by the Infrastructure and other teams is delivered.
Key Skills:
Proven track record in an IT Operations management role in a large complex, multivendor
24/7/365 environment
Experience in leading, building and mentoring an IT technology team to deliver high quality
service.
Experience of successfully leading and managing IT technology projects.
Experience with a combination of the following technologies: Microsoft Server OS and Windows 10, VMWare, Citrix, Hyper V, XenServer, Active Directory, Dell Enterprise Hardware, High Availability - failover and clustering solutions, SAN, WAN, LAN and Firewall technologies.
A strategic thinker who can optimise the IT Operations service, continuously improve efficiency, maintain operational integrity and deliver strategic impact.
Must have experience of P1 incident and stakeholder management.
Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience of ITIL or COBIT,
Knowledge of PSN and PCI compliance
Awareness of ISO27001 and GDPR
