Contract Performance Test Engineer - Dubai - 30,000 AED - 55,000 AED Monthly (Multiple positions available)

An opportunity for a Contract Performance Test Engineer has arisen to work for a prestigious organisation based in Dubai. As a Performance Engineer you will be responsible for creating and executing software performance testing strategies. You will be responsible for providing diagnostic information on production and test performance results. This position will play a key role in automating processes to improve productivity in testing and engineering practices. This position requires an individual with a strong programming background, analytical abilities and multitasking skills to work in a collaborative environment towards resolving complex problems.

Role Responsibilities:

*Define the performance testing strategy and approach

*Measure and effectively report the performance of our products and architecture

*Help in redefining how quality is achieved in the modern software lifecycle

*Work across several teams to help improve the performance of our systems

*Help shape and improving quality processes at all levels through automation

*Lead/contribute to engineering efforts, from planning and organization to execution and delivery in relation to tools and testing.

*Design and build performance testing frameworks

Key Skills:

*Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software.

*Solid experience with performance testing

*Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter, locust, etc.

*Experience with integrating performance testing into a continuous integration/delivery workflow

*Hybrid Cloud Environments

*Azure, AWS

*Experience in diagnosing performance related issues

*Ability to come up with solutions to new testing problems

Nice to haves:

*Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

*Experience with the DevOps lifecycle

*Experience working with 3rd party vendors

*Great verbal and written communication skills
