Job Title: Goods In Inspector - Mechanical Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, UKDuration: 6 months Rate: £Open to market rates Role Summary/PurposeThe Goods Inwards Inspector works closely with other members of the WMS Team to ensure accurate and efficient material throughput (Dock to Stock) in support of manufacturing production cells. This role has a strong emphasis on receiving / Inspecting product in line with our client's Quality Management System.Essential Responsibilities:Support Receiving / Warehousing Team in daily Dock to Stock Processing.Must be mechanically trained Receive, verify, process and receipt goods to the business systemProcess through the Quality database (QMS) Tip QAInspection of product for: FOD, Corrosion, Burrs, Paint Chips, Scratches & visible contamination.Electro Mechanical Parts Inspection for Manufacturer approval in qualified parts database.Sample parts checking to DSQR sample planWhere part permits: Check 5 characteristics verifying conformity to Drawing.Review areas of perceived risk based on experience & Non-Conformance history.Record / Scan Supplier C of C's / Pack slipsManagement of Non-ConformanceCommunication and EscalationCollaboration with Manufacturing Teams / Engineering / Supplier QualityCarry Out "Specific Criteria" InstructionsPriority awareness and managementComply with QMS ProceduresControl of DocumentsTracking and Control of stockHousekeepingTraceability ControlBusiness System TransactionsStock disposition & housekeepingQualifications/Requirements Experience of Receiving and Processing Supplied Parts through a Quality Inspection tool.Experience in Mechanical Measuring and verification to DrawingsCMM use or alternative Automated Measuring ApplicationsElectro / Mechanical ExperienceRead and Understand Drawings / BOM's / Circuit DiagramsUse of basic measuring equipment.
