Senior Quantity Surveyor Senior Quantity Surveyor | East London | £65,000 I am looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a medium-sized, family-run main contractor based in their award-winning office near Stratford. This client, who have been trading for over a century, has completed projects across London with values up to £30m that have won a range of prestigious awards.My client requires an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop themselves and expand their expertise, as they have complex projects in the pipeline, in sectors such as residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and leisure. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and agree valuations, variations and final accountsPrepare and monitor cash flow.Produce pre-contract budgets.Monthly cost value reconciliations and forecasts.Financial control of Sub-Contractors from placing order to agreeing final accounts.Cost per square metre analysis. Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position: You must hold a Batchelor's Degree in a relevant field3-5 years post-qualification main contractor experience.Ideally will have experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects within commercial, residential, education, leisure and residential sectors.You should be familiar with JCT, IFC, NEC and PPC forms of contract.Experience as a lead QS on projects will be advantageousYou must be a hands-on Senior Quantity Surveyor with a can-do attitude and great communication skills.
