Azure SQL DBA - Basingstoke - £50-60k A fast-growing MS Gold Partner based in Basingstoke are looking to recruit an Azure SQL DBA to be based within their Managed services team and work on maintaining their Azure SQL Data Platform. The Role Your responsibilities will be primarily associated with Managed Services Support with around 20% of your time dedicated to consultancy and presales. Your position will be diverse and challenging within an extremely busy environment. You will be expected to work closely with your team as well as independently. Responsibilities will include: Maintaining support for Managed Clients, including responding to tickets and support functions. Addressing 3rd level support issues which are escalated to you. Providing on-call support - which will include some out of hours work. Ensuring you keep MS certifications up to date. Understand and assist with the installation and development of the company's solution. Assist in covering support work where required. Liaise with senior management to resolve issues and manage customer incidents. Provide pre-sales support to the sales team. Work closely with customers to define and deliver solutions they require based on the MS BI Stack. Provide support to more junior team members where required. Actively engage in database projects which require your expertise on system design, tuning for Azure migrations, high availability and disaster recovery.
