Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java 8 / Java 11 Spring Git TDD CQRS). Are you a technologist seeking a challenging role at a global FinTech where you can make a real impact?

As a Java Developer you'll be working on a Greenfield project to develop a new trading exchange from scratch. You'll be a key member of an Agile development team using multi-threaded Java 8 and Java 11, Spring and SpringBoot to create real time data distribution systems and high performance low latency, highly resilient server applications within a microservices environment.

You'll based in open plan City based offices with a range of facilities and break out areas including pool table, ping pong table and roof terrace as well as quiet areas. There's a good work / life balance including flexible working hours and the option to work from home for part of the week.

Requirements:

Strong modern core Java development experience including Java 8 and ideally Java 11

Strong multi-threading / concurrency experience

Spring experience, ideally Spring Boot also

Strong experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and ideally Behavioural Driven Development (BDD)

Experience with real-time programming, real-time data distribution, low latency, high throughput applications

Collaborative with a good knowledge of Agile development methodologies, keen to learn and share knowledge

Nice to haves: CQRS, Event Sourcing; microservices, RESTful services, JMS, LLM, Oracle, MongoDB, CI/CD
