MEP Site ManagerEssex Rate: £300 - £380 per day Contract: Up to 6 monthsJob Ref: HH69139 A specialist contractor offering clients design and build solutions within the Mission Critical / Data Centre sector throughout the UK are actively seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to work on a large-scale data centre upgrade project in Essex. The M&E Site Manager will be site based in Essex, just south of Romford. The project itself is a plant upgrade. It's essential that the M&E Site Manager will offer recent data centre construction project experience. The Responsibilities of the M&E Site ManagerThe M&E Site Manager will be expected to:Ensuring adequate supervision is in place on all contracts under their control.The development of or ensuring the development of safe systems of work utilising generic risk assessments to develop task specific assessments.Ensuring contract specific site safety statements are developed including any sub-contracted works. These safety statements must be maintained as 'live' documents for the duration of the data centre project.Ensuring adequate supervision is in place on all contracts under their control.Chair sub-contract co-ordination meetings on a regular basis that are documented in minute's format and distributed to relevant personnel.Ensure there is adequate control of materials, plant and equipment to prevent loss by damage, waste, theft or unnecessary hire charges.Identify and issue RFI's to design team.Manage site teams through regular "team" meetings and Contract Reviews that are documented in minute's format and distributed to relevant personnel.Generate and maintain a procurement schedule for all contracts paying attention to long lead items.Monitor Actual against Planned progress against Contract programme.Ensure supervision have clearly defined roles and responsibilities.Experience required of the M&E Site ManagerThe M&E Site Manager MUST have the following:Live SMSTS or CSCS card (black or gold)Experience working on data centre construction project in the last 5 years is essentialMust be either Electrical or Mechanical bias with experience managing all services across M&E To Apply:To apply for the position of MEP Site Manager, or to find out what other opportunities we can offer in the data centre construction sector, please contact Heather Hall of Project Resource Ltd.
