VFX Developer / Python Software Engineer (VFX Colour Workflow Rendering 2D/3D Nuke Mari). Would you like to work in a friendly and creative tech environment on ground breaking Visual Effects for major TV shows and feature films (e.g. Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones)?
As a VFX Developer you'll manage the whole lifecycle of the company's pipelines and tools. You'll partner closely with department leaders and the production team; assist in the design, implementation and scheduling of software tasks and provide day-to-day pipeline support for clients. You'll ensure your work is well documented and help mentor more junior team members in a collaborative Agile environment where code quality is paramount.
Based in Central London you can enjoy a range of perks such as casual dress code and regular socials including beers on Friday.
Requirements:
Python software development experience
TDD or Unit testing experience
Familiar with CI/CD
Experience with some or all of the following VFX tools: Nuke, Mari, Hiero; render management software such as Deadline, Tractor, Grid Engine; understanding of colour workflow in VFX, 2D/3D applications; Nuke/Maya API development and Shotgun toolkit
Collaborative with excellent communication skills
