Software Engineer / Polyglot Developer London to £100k

Software Engineer / Polyglot Developer (Java JVM Clojure Scala .Net C# F# AWS Azure). Well established, start-up technology consultancy is seeking passionate technologists with a broad range of technical knowledge and a strong belief in Clean Coding practices.

You will work collaboratively with big name clients on software projects, building well-crafted software for customers and helping their developers to get better at their craft through training, coaching and mentoring to improve how customers deliver their software through the implementation of Clean Coding practices (such as Agile / Lean, Extreme Programming practices, TDD, Continuous Integration). You'll work with a broad range of technologies including JVM (Java, Clojure, Scala), .Net (C#, F#), NodeJS and cloud based solutions (AWS or Azure), JavaScript.

As a Software Engineer you'll join a small dedicated team of software professionals working collaboratively to help clients improve their software practices. Friendly and informal team environment with bright, spacious City based offices and flexible working conditions and casual dress code.

Requirements:

Evangelist of Clean Coding principles and techniques (e.g. Uncle Bob, SOLID)

Good understanding of software design / architecture

Experience with some or all of the following: JVM (Java, Clojure, Scala), .Net (C#, F#), NodeJS and cloud based solutions (AWS or Azure), HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Excellent communication skills, collaborative and able to build strong working relationship

Likely to be degree educated
