Treasury Manager- 3+ Months- London An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Treasury Manager to join global telecoms organisation in London.Role purpose:This role focuses on improving the clients Treasury effectiveness through upgrading and streamlining processes and systems and driving changes towards more robust controls and behaviours. The projects that you will be involved in focus on building, funding and protecting the clients value and generating commercial outcomes that benefit our business and stakeholders. Mandatory Skills:Subject matter expert in cash, banking operations and system, accounting systems and bank connectivity solutions. Strong all round technical knowledge in treasury including accounting, FX, funding.Strong knowledge across multiple finance disciplines including financial accounting, tax and reporting.Ability to identify, scope and resolve complex/challenging issues. Bold in taking decisions, able to adapt when necessary and easy to do business with.Ability to cooperate with, lead and support teams including finance, tax, corporate governance, procurement, technology and commercial.Accountabilities:Primary point of contact for day-to-day issues in respect of Group Treasury payments and cash management. Establishing best-practise throughout, ensuring systems and banking services are not disrupted.Develop SLAs for bank account providers in the UK and monitor and develop solutions with the banks to address any under-performance.Maintain Treasury's controls environment including maintenance of the Treasury Controls Framework document, and ensuring Treasury operations are subject to appropriate controls. This includes reviewing material new lease contracts in the Group against governance criteria.Ensure teams performing Sarbox reviews and internal/external audits of Treasury receive the co-operation and information necessary for them to complete their assignments.Develop middle office efficiency's using the TMS as well as efficiency's not related to Treasury systems. For example:automating bank account opening and management processes.streamlining treasury operations, systems and connectivity channels.Supporting UK and Global bank partner selection process. For example:Preparation of external tender documentation and analysis and summary of submissions.Reviewing and challenging stakeholders recommendations, ensuring these align with business objectives and improve processes and maximise automation.Advising Global Treasury, where appropriate, on projects such as:Implementing cash sweeping in Global.Resolving on-going cross-border complianceEmbedding processes and controls to enforce appropriate investment of cash which cannot be returned back to UK.Experience background:Preferred:Able to plan, prioritise and work under pressure to meet tough deadlinesCreative approach to problem solving with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent communications skills; being able to speak to senior management and precise when explaining ideasQualified and experience working for large multinational organisations.Mandatory:Knowledge of banking platforms and treasury management systems and processesConfident self-starter, able to work with no supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externallyHighly numerate, literate and detail conscious. Excellent reporting skills, being able to write to different audiences, including senior management.Excellent knowledge of Excel. Strong IT literacyThe urgency of this role is immediate start, we are looking for candidates that have no longer than a 1 week notice period.
