Enigma People Solutions is looking for a Software Developer to join the software team of our multinational client's Imaging Division based in Edinburgh. The software team, located in the Edinburgh Design Centre is part of the Imaging IAE Systems Development team. This team supports different groups within the Imaging division; Hardware and Software platforms dedicated to Design, Validation, Application and Characterisation. You will be involved in: Demonstration applications: SW that is used to promote IMG devices (both in user-space and kernel mode) Infrastructure SW: Libraries and applications that are needed to support other teams Firmware development and debug Unit & regression testing and development, CI principles Key Skills and Experience: Solid background in C development Good level of experience in C++ with Qt/MFC/WPF Experience in Python/C# desirable Linux kernel mode and user-space hardware driver development experience Tools - source control, unit test and CI systems Throughout our decade long relationship with this client, we have placed numerous candidates; many of whom are still happily there, working on cutting edge technologies for one of Europe's most innovative tech giants.
