The company are a global medical device company, specialise in the manufacture of a broad portfolio of medical devices. They are ranked within the top 10 global medical device companies, and are renowned for having an excellent culture on site. Your role as a Design Assurance Engineer will be to act as part of the Quality function on site. You will also be responsible for providing input to the contract development teams in the design of highly complex medical devices. Responsibilities:Plan, conduct and execute design assurance activities.Work closely with the product development engineering and client teams to establish the system design specifications and product requirements.Participate with cross functional engineering teams to establish and review the design FMEA.Support various QA / RA activities including quality management, system reviews, audits etc.Design verification and shelf life protocols / reports review.Generate and approve change requests.Provide QA direction for project including receiving and o line inspections. Requirements:Degree in Engineering / Science disciplines.2+ years experience within Quality in the medical device industry.Proven ability to work cross functionally.Excellent communication skills.
