Role: Process EngineerLocation: GalwayContract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Your role as a process engineer will be to work closely with the R&D and Manufacturing teams on the development of processes, equipment, materials and products. Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong technical expertise on process and product technologies to support the selection, design, validation and trouble shooting of technologies.Have a Continuous Improvement focus, demonstrate a strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and apply these in the characterisation, optimisation and trouble shooting of process equipment and technology performance.Liaise with cross functional teams in the selection, design and development of new equipment, tooling and materials.Lead the development and execution of experimentation and testing to enable characterisation, optimisation and trouble shooting of key processes and equipment.Complete the writing and release of process validation documentation including FMEAs, Validation Plans, protocols and reports.Understand and comply with all the regulation governing the quality systems. Requirements:Level 8 Degree in Science / Engineering disciplines.2+ years experience within the medical device industry.Proven ability to work cross functionally.Excellent communication skills.
