My Client, a high profile Bank is recruiting for a Java Software Engineer for an 11 Month contract to be based in Zurich. Working in various projects developing web services key responsibilities will include: Design, implementation and automated testing of micro-services architectureImplementation of Proof-Of-Concept / PrototypingClose collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionalityRequirement analysisEnsure code best practicesMaintenance / bug fixingThe successful incumbent will possess a track record in designing and developing RESTful web services and possess proven knowledge and experience working with Java Enterprise (including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and Web technologies (JavaScript, SOAP/REST, Swagger/RAML, XML, JSON). The ideal caniddtae will have solid web security know-how (identity management, OAuth 2.0) . Experience with Apache Kafka is an asset and Avaloq Front Platform customidation experience is an advantage.
