Salary: £55000-£65000 per annum
Location: Watford
Ennovision Technology Solutions is looking for 2 senior Java AWS Developers, to work on financial/capital market applications. Ennovision is currently working with one of the fastest growing financial clients based out of London and the project demands a team of seasoned JAVA developers to work with the client teams in delivering mission critical financial applications.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a background in delivering low latency, concurrent and fault tolerant software. They will have demonstrated the ability to make architectural decisions and understand business processes to deliver the cleanest solutions.
Essential
Extensive experience with multi-tier transactional architecture and design
Extensive experience of working on the Spring and Spring-Boot frameworks
ORM tools like hibernate
Build tools like Maven, Jenkins
Postgres Database
Experience using Agile methodologies - previous experience working from a backlog, sprints, retrospectives etc.
Experience working on the AWS cloud infrastructure
Familiar with producing test driven, clean code, automatically tested and continuously deployed
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a global team-environment
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in designing the application roadmap
Work alongside the client teams in developing in testing applications
Work with Devops for application deployment
Take part in daily scrum and stand-up calls
Take ownership of the work to be delivered
Investment Knowledge:
It will be highly beneficial to have experience in the finance sector
Education preference:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or engineering preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software system is required
