Demand Management Planner

Would you like to play a key role in the world class training school for fast jet pilots through supporting the fast jet training program? We currently have a vacancy for a Demand Management Planner at our site in RAF Valley.

As a Demand Management Planner, you will be working directly with the RAF customer, offering a unique experience and insightful view of the impact we have in the support of getting pilots to the front line to defend our country.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside Enterprise partners and be an integral part to the operational, support and maintenance teams, influencing the platform delivery organisations responsible for aircraft and bay maintenance availability.

Your main responsibilities as a Demand Management Planner will involve:

Providing a demand management service to the Hawk UK support contracts

Identifying the planned or scheduled demand for a maintenance or operational need event

Receiving and validating the demand in order to verify the finer detail with regard to task association, actual RDD and delivery location required

Identifying sourcing solutions for unscheduled or failed scheduled/planned arising's

Managing solutions to completion in order to meet the RDD

Meeting the requirements of the contract, flying hours, maintenance schedules, customer programmes and embodiment engineering

Your skills and qualifications: Essential:

Hold a recognised qualification to NVQ3/Level 3 Award in relevant discipline or relevant experience

IT literate (i.e. Microsoft Office packages)

Extensive SC experience in a customer environment

Recent in-depth experience within a Supply Chain Demand Management role in support of

Maintenance /after sales market environment Desirable: IMS experience What we're looking for in you:

You will be a proactive individual with strong character and innovative thinking in order to bring fresh ideas into the business. You will also be a flexible worker to deal within an ever-changing environment, allowing you to problem solve whilst managing priority deadlines.

Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills and be an avid team player and look to further develop these skills. This will allow you to exchange information in a clear and concise manner.

Salary: £26,231+
