A global digital software company that specialises in data analytics is looking for Java developer to work in conjunction with its UI/UX team and to focus on delivering the backend services and system integrations for its high-profile customers, using the latest Java based tools and technologies.

The Role:

* Create clear, concise and well-tested code

* Deploy code creating industry standard products

* Reviews standard of work, meeting the highest levels of quality

* Identifies, manages and migrates risk on a project

* Ensures all key design documents are completed for the solution

* Creates, maintains and delivers documentation relating to customer projects

* Participates in daily scrum call and works with project and development teams

Key Requirements:

* Java and Polymer skills (ideally with experience in Kubernetes and Rancher)

* Software product development and product release

* Develops applications on cloud architecture and deploys software for large scale AWS, Azure and

Google Cloud Engine

* Domain driven development and data modelling techniques

* Design patterns and modern application stacks, familiarity with Java, Microservices, NoSQL DBs, OO

design patterns, unit and integration tests REST, Spring and JEE

* Object Oriented code in Java that aims for resilience, scalability and maintainability

* Agile Methodologies and Scrum Practice
