PHP Developer / Software Engineer (Symfony RESTful API PostgreSQL). Would you like to utilise your skills at a technology focused not-for-profit organisation whilst learning and enjoying flexible working conditions?

The company enables the efficient running of internet protocols and services across the UK as a PHP Developer you will join an Agile development team on a Greenfield project to collaborate with other global internet service providers. You will develop high quality software design and architecture; identifying the best infrastructure that can scale, remaining up to date with emerging technologies and introducing them into the stack as appropriate. As a senior member of the team you will help to mentor more junior developers and evangelise best practice.

You'll be based in the City, working with a collaborative team of technologists on services that effect every person in the UK.

Requirements:

Strong PHP 7 development experience including Symfony 3 backend experience

RESTful API design and development experience

Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)

Collaborative, keen to learn and share knowledge

Nice to have: front end CSS libraries, BootStrap
