They also have; a beer fridge, pizza Friday's, sport always on in the office and regular social events at team and company level!Day to day, you will be responsible for: Building maintainable, testable, resilient software systems including monitoring and operational impact throughout the processWorking with the latest cloud technologies with large data sets and challenging projects.Owning the end to end software delivery processWorking alongside Architects and Senior Developers to design the systemWorking as part of a team - mentoring developers and ensuring coding standards are metThe candidate should be proficient in working as part of a team, a self-starter who ideally (but not essentially) has a keen interest in sports and the betting industry.You should have knowledge of the following technologies:Essential: Experience with either Java or ScalaExperience with working with NoSQL and RDBMS data platforms (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase)Experience of working in a fast paced, team environmentStrong communication skills, ambition and a passion for techWorking with a mixture of RESTful and push APIs (JSON and XML)Testing Frameworks e.g. Junit/Mockito/SpockTest Driven Development advocateDesired: Working with high volumes of data, low latency systemsWorking with distributed systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka/PubSub)Google cloud knowledgeContinuous Integration and continuous deliveryIf you believe you'd be suited please submit your CV at the first instance.
