Java Developer, 6 Month contract, London: My client are looking for a developer with vast Java and PL SQL commercial experience, with many years of exposure on open-source frameworks: Required:* Excellent Java skills - (SCJP certified preferred)

* Extensive experience developing web applications; across all tiers (front end, web, business and database) .

* Extensive experience in Open Source frameworks/Tools including Maven, Ant, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Sprint REST

* Experience in deployment to Oracle WebLogic and Tomcat

* Excellent SQL skills gained on Oracle and MySQL.

* Good knowledge of physical data modelling (indexes, partitions, table spaces etc.)

* A good knowledge of R

* Knowledge of Microservice based architectures, ideally gained through work on commercial applications.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills should be able to articulate point of view clearly to convince team members.

* Aptitude to learn new technologies. Nice to have:* Experience of deploying to microservices AWS using Lambdas

* Experience of using containerization including Docker and EKS

* Python scripting experience.

* Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
