Fibre Installations & Broadband Operations - FTTP, FTTC, PON, P2PSITE SUPERVISOR - URGENTLY REQUIRED - PERMANENT POSTFTTC, FTTP, PON, Fibre Broadband Installs, NRWSA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Health & SafetyLondon, City.£40,000pa + Bonus + On-Call + Corporate BenefitsDue to extensive growth, this established, independent and dynamic Fibre Network and Broadband Services Provider are seeking a professional, challenge orientated and focused Sites & Fibre Broadband Operations Supervisor (FTTP & FTTC) to enhance and support their rapidly growing Fibre Installations Team.The role will be working across London, predominantly in central London and will ideally fit a person coming from the Telecoms and/or ISP (Internet Services Provider) background with extensive Site Supervisor experience in the field.Within the role, you will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure projects are completed to planning requirements and on time.Good at problem solving and using the best technical ways to overcome any issues whilst keeping a mind of budget and timelinesThe successful candidate will be involved with the following:Ensure and monitor effective site operations and coordination of works compliant to NRSWA and Health & Safety requirements.Ensure all processes and procedures are followed by installation teams.Ensure all work on site is carried out to adequate standards as stated in contractual specification by conducting site audits.Maintain productivity objectives as set by Head of Installations.Update daily/weekly reports and review against the project delivery milestones, highlighting any risks that may have arisen to Head of Installations.Experience working on FTTP/ FTTC projects Attention to detailEnsure all site-specific method statements/risk assessments are inConducting Site audits and van tools audits in line withAccreditation to NRWSA SupervisorAbility to read SLD Telecom construction blueprints is essential.Proficient in MSThe ability to collect and analyse a wide range of data and use it for clear and targeted actionUnderstanding routing of fibre mapping from a PON and a point to point network Excellent communication skills at all levels.Experience with fusion splicersExcellent documentation skills.Managing both employees and contractors on the field. Ordering of equipment and materialsInventory updates and forecasts of future materials neededEnsuring all engineers have relevant health and safety documents and all documents returned after each installCarry out installation quality checks Audits on site.Review survey packs and be the "go-to" person for any technical issuesYou will also be tasked with Vehicle Management, ensuring all vehicles are road worthy and all documentation up to date.Previous experience with large network carriers such as Openreach, Virgin Media will be highly advantageous.On this client facing platform you will need a consultative DNA, a high-level of Service Ethic, and a "Customer is King" attitude.
