IT Project Manager

Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with a leading, nationwide company to recruit an IT Project Manager into their existing Lincoln team.

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

£35 - £38k

The Role

The successful candidate will join our client's small but rapidly growing team to provide services to an external body. You will be tasked with the delivery of the business strategy and the IT programme. You will also be working with the information technology systems with specialisation in our client's infrastructure.

The Responsibilities

*Define and Implement IT Projects ensuring that they are completed to the agreed cost, time and quality parameters.

*Ensure that projects are delivered to the agreed methodology and are in line with the senior project managers requirements.

*Plan different aspects of project delivery such as finance and resources.

*Ensure the proper management of risks and issues and resolve efficiently.

*Report progress on the project plans and ensure that this is properly communicated.

*Review the project on a regular basis.

*Lead project teams to design and implement the IT systems.

*Lead IT work streams as required.

*Design and own the implementation of IT systems.

The Requirements

*Experience within a similar role is vital.

*Ability to plan and manage projects and work streams.

*Prince2 qualification desirable but not essential.

*Understanding of Prince 2 and agile methodologies.

*Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as this will be a large part of the role.

*Outstanding communication skills as the role will involve communicating with technical and non technical stakeholders.
