ERP SYSTEM MANAGER - Location - Glasgow, £55,000-£70,000My client is looking for a ERP system manager, the job will entail Providing leadership and direction for all aspects of the ERP system including system development, business as usual support, end-user training and system upgrades. To Ensure the Systems team delivers significant systems improvements to improve efficiency and deliver value. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a organisation where even at a senior level they still promote further learning.Main duties and responsibilities Lead and manage the ERP TeamDetermine the direction for the team & Expectations regarding performance & behavioursProvide coaching/highlight areas to develop and improvement for the teamIdentify areas for further development and value add in systems provisionDefine and develop and deliver appropriate roadmap for system delivery aligned to Finance Strategy.Provide aswell as co-ordinate clear systems delivery plans to enable efficiencyProvide regular progress updates and adapt prioritisation as required to deliver business goalsOversee all aspects of project delivery. The full life cycle, initial requirement gathering through to development and implementationEnsure appropriate change management controls and processes are in placeKnowledge, Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceKnowledge/Qualifications significant experience of managing ERP teams, ideally around 20+Sufficient level of technical background , allowing you to deliver highly-credible leadership to the development team, while being able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issuesHave a solid understanding of the software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
