SC Network Specialist (WAN, Firewall, Cloud) - Bristol - 5 Month Contract My client, a global technology giant are looking to hire an SC Cleared Network Specialist to assist with some work being carried out with a Defence customer in Bristol. The role is on a contract basis through to March 2020 and can offer a competitive daily rate. Role Background:The successful candidate will be required to provide technical services including design and implementation of change projects and BAU support.You will be responsible for supporting a number of systems that cover Finance, Procurement and HR as well as the platform on which the applications are hosted.Essential Experience/Skills:The client is looking for candidates that have a deep understanding of Windows & Networks design, configuration and implementation.They are also expecting candidates to have expert level knowledge of networking including routers, firewalls, switched and load balancing.Extensive experience of fault finding and troubleshooting in network environments.Proven ability of designing network environments including LANs, WANs, security and load balancing solutions.Exposure to operating system installation and configuration as well as Environment monitoring and management (both physical and virtualised).The client is also interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of Firewall Management and Hardware Installation.Any experience of cloud migration strategy / design would also be of interest.Candidates should hold an active SC Clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
