Data Analyst / SQL Reporting Analyst (MiFID 2 / MiFID II). Global financial software house is seeking a SQL Data Analyst with MiFID 2 expertise. You'll investigate and resolve issues escalated by 1st line Support or the Regulatory Control team as well as performing ad-hoc investigations, reporting and static data updates. Responsibilities will also include maintenance and enhancement of existing systems components: Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Stored Procedures, View and Tables, automating wherever possible using tools written in PowerShell, Python and Perl.

You will be working in a professional yet informal atmosphere in impressive, City based offices with breakout areas and a range of onsite facilities.

Requirements:

*Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server

*Strong experience of working in a regulated environment with an indepth knowledge of MiFID 2

*Ability to code / script with: Python, PowerShell and / or Perl

*Experience with XML: Consumption, Production, & Transformation; Schema Validation

*Pro-active, able to identify issues before they arise

*Collaborative with strong written and verbal communication skills
