My client one of the leading financial consultancies, currently in the top 5, are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Analyst to join their team.

This role is to ensure the smooth functioning of infrastructure and operational environments that support applications and systems, including the network infrastructure; server and device management; computer operations; network administration; IT infrastructure library (ITIL) management; and Service Desk calls. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to help improve the firms' systems, procedures and knowledge base by contributing and collaborating with others.

Tasks will include:

*Monitoring the health of systems, whilst recommending enhancements to improve proactive and reactive response

*Deliver third line infrastructure support

*Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

*Administer the corporate infrastructure

*Monitor and manage the firms' backup solution

Responsibilities:

*Primary point of contact for incidents escalated from the IT Service Desk team

*Mentor, coach and assist members of the Service Desk team

*Prioritising of escalated incidents

*Primary responsibility for monitoring the health of systems across the firm

*Primary responsibility improving the monitoring of systems across the firm

*Administer corporate infrastructure, including Active Directory, LAN, Internet access, firewalls and Exchange 2010+Office 365

*Monitor and troubleshoot server and network performance

*Administer and manage the firms' backup and replication solution

*Keep operational documentation up-to-date for those areas of responsibility

Experience:

*Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012R2/2016 including clustering

*Knowledge of PowerShell

*Knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.5+ in an enterprise environment

*Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010+Exchange Online

*Knowledge Citrix Presentation/XenApp/XenDesktop 7.15

*Knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs

*Knowledge of backup and replication systems (preferably CommVault and VMWare SRM)

*Knowledge of Office 365Azure

*Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7+Windows 10
